小利兰·斯坦福大学(Leland Stanford Junior University)

I. [SR] Advanced Soft Robotics Design

Keywords: Soft Robots, Mechanical Design

Candidates: Students who want to publish papers in robotics/mechanics/materials/engineering related journals. Students must have strong mechanical design skills, and software experience such as Solidworks to begin with. Students with good knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering are preferred.
The candidate will be focusing on 3D structure design and optimization for the soft robots. The design will be constructed by 3D printing.

II. [SR] Mechanical Modeling for Soft Robotics

Keywords: Soft Robots, FEM Modeling

Candidates: Students who want to publish papers in robotics/mechanics/materials/engineering related journals. Students must have strong mechanical design skills, reasonably good mathe- matical skills, strong skills of Finite Element Analysis and simulation. Students with good knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering are preferred.

III. [SR] Soft Origami Design

Students must have strong knowledge in Labview, Matlab, or related tool for integrating differ- ent hardware together. Multiple candidates are needed for this project.

V. [GD] Science Graphic Design

Keywords: Science, Graphic Design

Candidates: Students who want to publish papers in any scientific journals, and also want their graphic design to be appeared as cover of journals and published in global mainstream journals such as BBC, Forbes. Students must have strong graphic design skills and rich experience of using graphic design software. Students with background of graphic design, art, film production are preferred. Multiple candidates are needed for this project.
